I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Marvin’s Confections was extremely disappointing. I contacted the owner directly and explained in detail that I was looking to arrange a special gift package for a friend who was checking into a local resort. This was a time-sensitive request intended to be a surprise, and I was assured that the details would be reviewed and that I would hear back. Unfortunately, that never happened. Over the course of two days, I repeatedly attempted to follow up and could not get in touch with anyone. Every call was routed to an automated answering service, and despite leaving messages, I never received a return call. There appears to be no reliable way to reach a real person, which is incredibly frustrating when trying to coordinate a customized order. What makes this particularly disappointing is that their lack of communication completely derailed plans I had carefully put together for someone important to me. Had I simply been told they were unable to accommodate the request or were too busy, I could have made other arrangements. Instead, I was left waiting without any response. I was lucky to pick up some of Marvin's chocolate at a recent event in Charlotte and now I'm having to ration it until I can get back to get more! The caramel collection is simply divine, and the pieces are large enough to be satisfying but not overwhelming. I picked up the salted dark chocolate turtle bar for my family, and my mother who is"not a chocolate person" said it was gone in a matter of days. It is quite simply some of the best chocolate I've ever had. You should absolutely treat yourself and someone you love.

I picked up a box of Marvin's chocolates at a local music event. They're almost too pretty (and cool!) to eat... almost. They're absolutely delicious, though! Rich, silky, lush... it reminds me of the chocolates I ate in Belgium, but they're here... locally! Plus, Marvin seems like a really nice fella! I need to find his next event so I can get some more! 😜

This business has 5 stars. There is a reason for it. Marvin is a reflection of the chocolate he produces. These are the best chocolates I have ever had - and I have had some from places in NYC that are world renowned. Do not skip on the turtle bar things. They are amazing. Such cool colors, flavor combos, designs and effort go into these. I will be back, repeatedly. Thank you Marvin!

Marvin provided gorgeous and delectable chocolates for my sister-in-law’s birthday. She is a true chocolate connoisseur, and said that his chocolates were the best she had ever eaten. Not to mention that they are absolutely gorgeous! Special thanks for putting together a beautiful order for us at the last minute. We are so appreciative, and will definitely be repeat customers.
